Facilities
Our facilities are designed to support the safe, efficient and fully traceable handling of bulk liquid products, combining advanced infrastructure with a responsible approach to resources and the environment.
Strategically located at the Port of Barcelona, our terminal is equipped to handle maritime, road and rail operations to the highest industry standards.
A Terminal Designed for Efficiency and Safety
Our terminal covers 27,400 m² and has a total storage capacity of 200,000 m³, distributed across 127 tanks ranging from 100 m³ to 7,500 m³.
This range of capacities enables us to meet the specific requirements of each customer and handle products of different types with complete flexibility.
Our tanks are made of stainless steel and carbon steel, providing the highest level of protection for the products stored.
All tanks are equipped with steam heating coils and thermal insulation, allowing products to be maintained at the specific temperature required in each case.
Our infrastructure is designed to optimise operating times while preserving product integrity at all times.
Each tank, pipeline and connection point forms part of an integrated system designed to ensure safe, efficient and coordinated operations.
The combination of maritime, road and rail transport makes RELISA a multimodal logistics platform capable of adapting to each customer’s requirements and delivering flexible, safe and efficient solutions.
Port Infrastructure
RELISA has access to four shared berths for vessel loading and unloading operations, capable of accommodating ships over 180 metres in length and with a draught of more than 11 metres.
The berths operate at discharge rates of between 300 and 700 m³/h and are equipped with dedicated pipelines, ensuring safe, precise and efficient product transfer.
RELISA also has a Self-Protection Plan (PAU), integrated into the Port’s emergency framework, together with an Internal Maritime Emergency Plan (PIM) to ensure an effective response in the event of an emergency.
High-Capacity Road Operations
RELISA has 21 loading points for road tankers, flexitanks and isotanks, allowing multiple operations to be carried out simultaneously. The average turnaround time for each operation, from vehicle arrival and document checks through to departure from the terminal, is under 40 minutes.
The terminal handles around 250 loading and unloading operations every day, ensuring fast, efficient and safe operations.
Rail Connectivity for Integrated Logistics
Our terminal has a dedicated rail siding capable of handling the simultaneous unloading of up to 15 tank wagons.
This infrastructure strengthens our operational capacity and supports the integration of rail transport as an efficient, safe and sustainable option within the logistics chain.
Infrastructure Designed for Sustainability
and Continuous Improvement
Our facilities are designed with energy efficiency and environmental responsibility in mind.
Ongoing equipment upgrades, optimised resource consumption and the use of advanced control technologies help reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
Our technical team combines experience, continuous training and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
This approach enables us to enhance our processes, respond to evolving industry requirements and operate in line with the highest international safety and sustainability standards.
